Finally, Derek Ramsay admitted in twitter that he and Angelica Panganiban already broke up. It’s a shame though that their relationship lasted 6 years. Either Derek Ramsay is tired of same old dish or Angelica Panganiban is tired that their relationship is going nowhere. I’m surprised they lasted this long knowing that Derek’s womanizing ways were pretty much legendary. I guess that Derek can enjoy all he can eat sushi his eyes can feast upon.

Looks like our favorite Manyakis doctor is now back and ready to rock. When he and his sweet sugar mama parted ways back in February, I thought we’ll never hear from him. Now when I checked out his twitter, he’s alive and got facebook fanpage to boot. Why does my spider senses tells me that he and his ladylove are back in each other’s arms? Of course they won’t admit that yet in public unless there’s an announcement that the two of them are officially married. Anyway without further ado, now Hayden fans can now go and bask at his awesomeness.

Model Benjamin Alves joins GMA 7 Kapuso roster of talents. He’s also related to a famous actor Piolo Pascual. He’s technically a nephew of Piolo Pascual and his. Let’s see how he will survive the big bad world of Philippine showbiz.
I hope that GMA utilize this actor since they keep giving shows to Aljur, Dingdong and Richard Gutierrez.
Benjamin – co-managed by GMA Artist Center and Mercator – will be gradually molded into a dramatic actor in hopes of assuming leading-man status and getting paired with some of the network’s top actresses like Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos, Carla Abellana and Glaiza de Castro. Movies will most probably be in the offing as well. GMA Films has been steadily churning out a variety of flicks where he could get a role or two in the near future.

An interview on Xian Lim’s ideal girl also doubles as press release for Myra Hand and Body Lotion line. What’s with obssesion on the girl’s skin color and skin quality. Whatever happened to pleasing personality? A person’s physical looks doesn’t last forever, soon the skin will lose its elasticity and you know the rest of the picture.

Filipino Actor Rocco Nacino to Star in Epic movie The Lam-Ang Experiment

Rocco Nacino brillantly stood out with his performance in “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa”. He’s definitely one of the most underrated talents in GMA. But good thing his efforts didn’t go unnoticed when he was awarded the lead role in an indie production “The Lam-Ang Experiment”. The movie is based on a Filipino Epic folklore. Let’s see how this movie will go.

As the title implies, “The Lam-Ang Project” is based on the Ilocano epic poem “Biag ni Lam-Ang” by Pedro Bucaneg. It tells the story of an “extraordinary” man named Lam-Ang, who had the ability to speak upon birth, and his quest to avenge his father’s death. Producer and Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos said in an interview last month that the movie will have a “futuristic and sci-fi” approach.

Filipino Star Sam Milby Leaves Philippines to Pursue Hollywood Dream

Well it seems that Sam Milby thinks he’s good enough to make it to the Hollywood scene. Unfortunately having a showbiz career in Philippines is not guarantee enough to make it big. Remember Gisele Toengi, Antoinette Taus, Raymond Bagatsing and etc? I wonder what happened to their hollywood dreams. Isn’t it better if he’ll just concentrate making a name her in Philippines. After all, everyone is thrilled to see his mediocre acting.

The singer-actor posted these updates (published as is) on his Twitter account yesterday, November 9: “Well the meetings in NYC [New York City] went great and now I’ll be in the States starting Feb next year for a minimum of 3 months.”
“But sadly I won’t be doing ‘Alta’ or the movie with Bea because I’ll be gone for so long.” “Been reading all ur tweets… thanks everyone
I know its a good risk. And ill still be busy for the 3 months before i leave.”
In a previous interview, Sam revealed that he was scheduled to meet with three Hollywood agencies last October. He mentioned that he underwent auditions for a possible TV show in the United States.

Filipino Actor John Lloyd Cruz turns down 1M per day from TV 5

Looks like TV5 just can’t buy talent. John Lloyd Cruz reported turned down TV5 juicy 1M per taping day offer. If you calculate the cost, it’s very tempting but in the long run, he will pay the price dearly. What if the show flops? Can John Lloyd sustain his popularity? He’s already doing great with ABS CBN who consistently gives him the exposure he needs. Perhaps he’ll think about the offer one day when ABS CBN stops giving him projects. When that time comes, will TV5 still be around? He did the right thing.

It’s obvious that Albie Casiño’s career is heading for the gutter that he had to use Andi’s situation to gain publicity. Why would they keep demanding for DNA test in front of the media. They’re putting the girl in an awkward position here. It’s like they’re making Andi appear like some slut who sleeps around with guys. Andi no longer cares if he mans up for the baby. If he wants, he can be in good terms with her and secretly get a strand of hair from the baby and have it tested.

Finally, after all these years Richard Gomez wisened up and realized he can no longer take anymore more supporting roles in GMA 7. To think that cheap starlets that can’t act are being given more preferential treatment in GMA. Had he stayed longer, he will probably be taking “Grandfather” roles. Well ABS CBN seems to take care of veteran stars these days, giving them exposures they deserve.
