Filipina Actress Jennylyn Mercado Awarded Honorary Member of Gabriela Women Group
Friday, May 18th, 2012
I never ever supported Gabriela women’s group because obviously they seem to care about the plight of sensationalized women in the news or battered celebrities. When did you hear Gabriela getting spotlight that’s not related to battered celebrities? But sure I see them in news all the time rallying and protesting, but that’s it. I do hope they’ll consider doing some activities nationwide. Protesting and rallying does not count. It does not achieve anything period.

Filipina Celebrity Sharon Cuneta Angry at Eric Salut Tweet on KC
Friday, May 18th, 2012
ABS CBN Head of Promotions and Advertising Eric John Salut received backlash from KC and Sharon Cuneta’s camp after he posted on his twitter,
“”Kilala ko na kung kaninong fans ang bitter sa succes ng #EveryBreathUTake. Obvious!”
Here’s his follow up to KC fans
“Gusto mo ng baho ng idolo mo? Dami kong alam. Di mo kakayanin.”
Whether he’s right or wrong, he shouldn’t posted something like that. He gives of this cheap trashy tabloidish vibes with that kind of behavior. It’s hard to believe that ABS CBN hired trashy people like him for promotions and advertising. Doesn’t behave like an executive worth respecting. Like the saying goes, “You can get a person out of a ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of a person”.

Thursday, May 17th, 2012
One would assume that Grace Lee and PNoy’s sham relationship would eventually fall into shambles in few months. After all that “dating” the president confirmed that they’re just “friends”. Yeah righ. I really don’t know if I should feel sorry for the untimely demise of their relationship or just relieved that the media will now focus on what the president is doing instead of who’s he dining with.
Posted in Pinoy Celebrity | No Comments »However, when the name Grace Lee was mentioned, the President only answered, “Kaibigan natin (Our friend).”
It was the first time the President spoke about his relationship with the Korean celebrity following rumors that he and Lee have already broken up.Lee earlier declined to answer questions pertaining to the matter, urging the media to ask the President himself about it.
When told about Lee’s stance during the same Bomboradyo interview, Aquino said: “O, (eto) two words (ko): ‘(mag)kaibigan kami.”
Aquino and Lee were last seen together in public last month during a Sergio Mendes concert.Source: yahoo
Filipino Channel GMA Network For Sale at 100 Billion Pesos
Thursday, May 17th, 2012
Atty Gozon finally admits that GMA network is indeed for sale when the price is right. I hate to sound so snarky but 100 billion is indeed excessive for a TV network that profits around 2 to 3 billion annually. I hope whoever would buy the network would make the station more sophisticated and none of that bakya shows.
Posted in Pinoy Showbiz | No Comments »MANILA, Philippines – The three major owners of broadcast company GMA Network will sell their stakes to a buyer that will offer P100 billion for 100 percent of the company.
“I will sell for P100 billion, and this includes the 23 percent held by the public. At P100 billion, I will sign with my eyes closed,” GMA chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon said.
According to Gozon, more than one conglomerate has offered to acquire GMA and one of them is the group of Manuel V. Pangilinan, which owns rival TV 5. There were earlier reports that Pangilinan had offered P40 to P45 billion for a 100-percent stake in GMA.
Gozon said that at the moment, they have not received an “acceptable” offer. “If we receive an acceptable offer, then we will sell our entire stake in the company,” he added. The 77-percent stake not held by the public is owned by Gozon, the Duavits and the Jimenezes.
As to what is an acceptable offer, Gozon said “price is the start of everything.”Source: Yahoo
Filipino Boxer Manny Pacquiao Barred from Grove Interview After Anti-Gay Marriage
Wednesday, May 16th, 2012
Wow! who would have thought that the great “Pacman” would get barred from the Grove interview. Thanks to Manny’s homophobic Bible excerpts which says that homosexuals should be put to death: If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”
I’m guessing that Pacman isn’t expecting that backlash. He keeps forgetting that what works in Philippines won’t work in USA.
Posted in Pinoy Celebrity | No Comments »“We’re canceling the event,” says Grove spokesman Bill Reich. “Manny Pacquiao is not coming to the Grove.” And thus the backlash begins.
Below, the Grove’s explanation as to why Pacquiao isn’t welcome at its Fairfax campus. Ever. Again.
“Based on news reports of statements made by Mr. Pacquiao we have made it be known that he is not welcome at The Grove and will not be interviewed here now or in the future. The Grove is a gathering place for all Angelenos and not a place for intolerance.”
Filipino Hunk Derek Ramsay Admits Breakup with Angelica Panganiban in Twitter
Monday, May 14th, 2012
Finally, Derek Ramsay admitted in twitter that he and Angelica Panganiban already broke up. It’s a shame though that their relationship lasted 6 years. Either Derek Ramsay is tired of same old dish or Angelica Panganiban is tired that their relationship is going nowhere. I’m surprised they lasted this long knowing that Derek’s womanizing ways were pretty much legendary. I guess that Derek can enjoy all he can eat sushi his eyes can feast upon.

Thursday, May 10th, 2012
Looks like our favorite Manyakis doctor is now back and ready to rock. When he and his sweet sugar mama parted ways back in February, I thought we’ll never hear from him. Now when I checked out his twitter, he’s alive and got facebook fanpage to boot. Why does my spider senses tells me that he and his ladylove are back in each other’s arms? Of course they won’t admit that yet in public unless there’s an announcement that the two of them are officially married. Anyway without further ado, now Hayden fans can now go and bask at his awesomeness.

Thursday, May 10th, 2012
Mo Twister is at it again, this guy never ran out of stupid ideas for his radio show. The sad thing is he got 2 DJ involved with his shenanigans. He and his cohorts were so bored that they decided to come up with an idea of making a trending topic on Charice Pempengco in unflattering light. Needless to say their inane joke earned them 2 week suspension from the show without pay.

Filipino Actor turned Politician Roderick Paulate Ghost Employee Corruption
Wednesday, May 9th, 2012
I had so much respect for Actor Roderick Paulate especially when he managed to keep himself away from being tabloid fodder throughout his time in showbiz. It was disappointing to hear the news regarding the alleged corruption charges filed against him. I hope this would serve as a lesson to celebrity politicians to clean up their act and not get too greedy.
Posted in Pinoy Showbiz | No Comments »The payments were made on the basis of allegedly spurious personal data sheets and payrolls.
Paulate allegedly paid 30 ghost employees while Calalay had 29 on the payroll.
At monthly wages of from P2,500 to P5,000 per employee, Paulate allegedly disbursed around P1.1 million for his fictitious employees. Calalay disbursed around P2.2 million in wages, the Office of the Ombudsman said.
The Ombudsman has filed a graft charge and administrative charges of Grave Misconduct, Serious Dishonesty and Falsification of Official Documents against the two councilors. Charges have also been filed against their respective liaison officers.

Filipina Stage Mother Rina Casino Accuses Jaclyn Jose as Alcoholic
Wednesday, May 9th, 2012
Albie “Ilong Ranger” is at it again, hiding in his mom’s skirt like a wimpy sniveling fat maggot. This time he let his mom do all the talking and of course like typical stage mothers from hell, she keeps talking out of her ass. She accuses other friends of Andi for beating up Albie even though the people mentioned aren’t present at the time of incident. Now she even dragged Jaclyn Jose into the mud by accusing her of being an alcoholic. Why does she keeps forcing her dear boy into the showbiz spotlight? She reminds me of that annoying stage mother in Lino Brocka’s movie “Stardoom”. Her ambition brought her son to tragic end.
Stardoom by Lino Brocka
