Guess who’s the latest hollywood star image model of Penshoppe? It’s no other than Zac Efron. I bet that gets a lot of filipino fans giddy with excitement in seeing him in Philippines soon. It seems that Penshoppe is getting foreign celebrity endorsers such as Mario Maurer and Ed Westwick. While they’re at it, they might as well improve the women’s clothing line since it leaves a lot to be desired. Just saying.

When the guys finally pack up and leave, expect some juicy buzz interview with some chick who would spill the beans on one hot night with Jeremy Renner. Of course this may or may not happen after all, I’m not Madam Auring.

You still remember the iconic baby on Nirvana’s Nevermind Album? Spencer Elden went back to the Rosebowl, pasadena to recreate the album to commemorate the 20th anniversary of nevermind album. He has yet to meet the band members. One may think that he’ll be into music as well, but it seems that his interest leans towards art. I wonder, will he recreate the infamous album cover when he’s 50 years old?

Oprah’s alleged statement on Shamcey Supsup spread around online faster than speed of light. I knew it was too good to be true that Oprah would be rooting for Shamcey Supsup. It didn’t take long that the alleged statement would be debunked by PR people of Oprah. Some bored people just concocted this fairytale to make themselves feel better on Miss Philippines’ loss.

This alleged statement was aired via NBC News: “I have reservations with the results. If the only basis is the Q and A portion, after having been trimmed down to 5, Ms. Philippines deserved to win. What made her different from the rest is that she had no seconds to rethink of her answer as she had no interpreter to break the ice. The rest had their interpreters and having breaks on seconds to think about their answers. Hands down, Ms. Philippines answered straight to the point.”
But sorry to burst your bubble, the highly influential celebrity did not actually say that.
Answering a query on the alleged statement, a moderator on Oprah’s official website Oprah.com said Oprah has not issued “any comments of this nature.”

I saw this news article on Philippine Star that Taylor Lautner is set to endorse Philippine apparel Bench. Since I’m not a big fan of Lautner or any twilight stars in particular, I knew that this news would be a big deal. Turns out that Ricky Lo is sadly mistaken. What’s worst is that Taylor Lautner’s Management isn’t too happy about the PR stunt and considers filing a case against Bench.
I was thinking that either Ricky Lo drank too much martini when he got the news or he got paid to make fake PR stunt to get some buzz going. For an established entertainment writer like Ricky Lo, it’s pretty dumb move to release news like that without verifying facts. If he continues to make stunts like that I’m sure he’ll end up writing for unsavory tabloid columns like Tiktik, Bandera and etc. I’m sure he’ll be welcomed by bottom feeders like Cristy Fermin.

According to The Philippine Star entertainment columnist Ricky Lo, Bench tapped American actor Taylor Lautner to become its newest endorser.
Lo’s source, however, did not say if Lautner, who rose to fame by playing Jacob Black in “The Twilight Saga”, would model its shirts, pants or underwear. “Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick flew to the Philippines after Penshoppe hired him. Clothing brand Kamiseta has previously tapped Natalie Portman to endorse its products. Katie Holmes is its latest endorser.

I know that Dakota Fanning is itching to act “grown up” but posing like this in Marc Jacobs perfume ad looks unclassy. Here in this picture you see Dakota as nubile girl with a perfume strategically placed between her legs. On top of it, there’s a flower strategically placed. I get this “birds and bees” type of vibe to it.
I’m guessing that the one in charge wants to project a “lolita” look but ends up looking like a fapping material to lecherous guys.

Arisxandra Libantino of Nottingham didn’t make the cut in Britain’s Got Talent 2011. She sang, “And I Am Telling You” by Jennifer Hudson which impressed the judges so much that David Hasselhoff asked her if she’s indeed 9 years old. Holden comment that she’s got the biggest set of lungs at her size.
Despite getting “Three yes” from the judges, it’s still puzzling why her audition didn’t get shown. The producers just had to say that “Due to lack of time” that not all audition gets to be shown.
Before anyone gets all worked up about “Racism” issue, maybe the producers are so sick and tired of singers. I usually skip the show when it showcases singers since there’s gazillions of them already. I would want to watch something new and refreshing.
