Filipina Psychic Madam Auring Sizzling Hot Music Video
Sunday, June 12th, 2011
Apparently, well known psychic of the stars Madam Auring got tired of her dayjob predicting crap that’s going nowhere. I know this sh!t is old but this never fails to make you gag with disgust for millinium to come. I’m surprised that dimples star tours decides to sponsor Madam Auring’s video. I guess they can’t risk their bus drivers sleeping on the job. I truly felt sorry for the camera man and video editor who was involved in this monstrousity.

Thursday, June 9th, 2011
Charice Pempengco decides she had enough of her haters trolling on her facebook fanpage that she deleted it. To add insult to injury, her supposedly loyal supporters were backstabbing in other pages.
She tweeted:
“Glad I deleted my Facebook. It’s funny to invade some non-public pages and see other “not so true chasters” talk negative stuff about me,”
“To all of you fake people saying great stuff in front of me, backstabbers, goodluck.
Have a mentos! The fresh maker!! boo
,”
I really have no idea why Charice have such Bipolar fans. For instance, I don’t like Charice and I wince each time I see the smug look on her face. But I don’t go trolling on her facebook fanpages just to trash talk about her. There’s more important things to do dwell on such negativity.

Monday, June 6th, 2011
Korean star Sandara Park returns to Philippines along with her K-pop group 2NE1 for June 4, 2011 concert at Araneta Coliseum. The group is well known for their smash hit songs such as Fire, I Don’t Care and Lonely.
Despite enjoying success and fame in Korea, Sandara still hasn’t forgotten about the country where she got her first big break in showbiz. She started out Star Circle Quest where she garnered the highest number of text votes among the questors. When her career gone sour, she decided to go back to Korea and indeed got her break when she was accepted as the 4th member of 2NE1.
Sandara and girls felt grateful during their stay here in Philippines. The fans still received them warmly. They even planned to do concert here again and tour more places. Very nice of them to appreciate this country and the people.

Sunday, May 15th, 2011
Filipino Baritone Jonathan Zaens is now quite well known as “World’s versatile interpreters of contemporary music” of German Opera Scene. His performance in Karlheinz Stockhausen’s opera last April 9 and 10 earned him such title. He studied voice and music theater at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Here’s a snippets of his interview by Pablo. A. Tariman, VERA Files
“I was such a neophyte in this genre at that time, that it took me almost a year to learn my part in ‘Michaels Jugend’,” he added. “But that paid off because I got a personal telephone call from Stockhausen after our Berliner Premiere, engaging me to sing the baritone part in ‘Dufte Zeichen’ for the Salzburger Festspiele.”
The Filipino baritone also admitted his first telephone encounter with Stockhausen was also one of the most embarrassing moments in his life.
He explained: “When Mr. Stockhausen called, he introduced himself only as Stockhausen. I thought it was a friend making a joke on me. I asked backed in a mischievous and almost irreverent tone: ‘Do you mean Karlheinz Stockhausen?’ using the informal form of YOU in German. The moment he confirmed it, I suddenly realized that he was the real one!”Judging from the highly positive reviews of the baritone’s lied and oratorio engagements, it is easy to see that Zaens had become the “Prince of Lied and Oratorio from the Philippines.”

Sunday, May 15th, 2011
Rez Toledo would have never thought in his wildest daydream that he would get his big break as soon as he posted his stuff on myspace. He formed Somedaydream 3 years ago when he was 18. Owl City and The Secret Handshake were among his inspirations for his electronic sounds. Armed with laptop synthesizers, he began composing his tunes. Although I’m not so fond of the music genre he’s in but it’s still refreshing to hear original music as opposed to regurgitated music covers from other studio artists like Sarah Geronimo et al. I hope that Somedaydream will hit it big to encourage budding music artists to make original music.
His work got spread by word of mouth, which got the attention of former Hale singer Champ Lui Pio (What? Hale no longer exist?!). So, Champ decides to help out the budding artist until eventually he decided to make a record label called Mecca Music. He even got his celebrity friends to help him out with the video for free.
Somedaydream – Hey Daydreamer Official Music Video
The official video “Hey Daydreamer” was directed by Bianca King and Enzo Valdes. I would love to see what goes on behind the scenes. I bet Bianca has few of the input with Enzo Valdes doing most of the dirty job. Despite being composed of star studded crew, the video looks a bit amateurish for me. But hey can’t blame them for having little budget.

Thursday, May 12th, 2011
Despite feeling sick due to chest infection, Justin Bieber pushes through with his show since he doesnt want to disappoint fans. That earned him much respect from most people for not backing out on the show. Who would have thought that 24 hours later, the adoration he earned turned to disgust and fury. A NAIA stuff asked for autograph for autograph just when Justin was on his way to board the plane. It’s hard to tell in the video if he indeed made deliberate attempt to be rude. He tapped the guy’s hand that held a cd for the autograph. It’s not like he did a Russell Crowe who berated a waitress or threw telephone at a hotel staff.
For me, this is a non issue not worth warranting a persona non grata status in Philippines. Plus this gives bad rep for the country for being so “balat sibuyas” if the artist snubs them. No wonder we have desperate and aging foreign acts who wants to do concert here. In the first place, why did the employee went beyond professionalism just to get his autograph for his daughter? For the Pinoys, just let this thing slide and hit him where it hurts. Stop patronizing his crap and future concerts (If ever he decides to come back).
