Pedro Calungsod – Indie Filipino Film Starring JM de Guzman
JM de Guzman is set to star in another indie film based on the life of a second filipino saint Pedro Calungsod. He was a sacristan and not a priest as reported by pep. I’m looking forward how this movie will turn out. I’m sick and tired of seeing same formulaic movies by big studios that rips us off our hard earned money.
Masasabing nagsimula si JM sa mga indie films bago siya nabigyan ng pagkakataon sa mainstream. Kaya naman ang indie raw ang isa sa hindi niya talaga maiiwan.
In fact, may bago siyang indie movie na sisimulan. Ito ay ang pagsasa-pelikula ng buhay ni Padre Pedro Calungsod, ang nakatakdang i-canonize sa Rome na ikalawang Pilipinong santo.
