Filipino Boxer Manny Pacquiao Barred from Grove Interview After Anti-Gay Marriage
Wow! who would have thought that the great “Pacman” would get barred from the Grove interview. Thanks to Manny’s homophobic Bible excerpts which says that homosexuals should be put to death: If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”
I’m guessing that Pacman isn’t expecting that backlash. He keeps forgetting that what works in Philippines won’t work in USA.
“We’re canceling the event,” says Grove spokesman Bill Reich. “Manny Pacquiao is not coming to the Grove.” And thus the backlash begins.
Below, the Grove’s explanation as to why Pacquiao isn’t welcome at its Fairfax campus. Ever. Again.
“Based on news reports of statements made by Mr. Pacquiao we have made it be known that he is not welcome at The Grove and will not be interviewed here now or in the future. The Grove is a gathering place for all Angelenos and not a place for intolerance.”
